But, this self-isolation isn’t helping any. I still have 5 kids, and with only 2 parents in the house we pretty much have our hands full all the time regardless.

This isn’t the post you’re looking for. But I was tired of having the latest one be multiple years old.

We have a great house - three bedrooms, a back yard, a garage - I love it! Buuut, right now our two extra bedrooms are an office and a guest room/library, and our garage is full of tools and shelves. And it’s very garage-y (cement floor, plywood walls, poor ventilation, etc.)

HELLO EVERYONE AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Officially, my Tumblr was created on December 2, 2012, but my first post wasn’t until the eleventh. You can view it in all its glory here.

Also! I just passed the One Thousand Post milestone and I’m almost to 1,500 followers so I’m counting that as another milestone.

I did this earlier this year, but I want to give some swinging tracks to two of my wonderful followers so without further ado, I present My Second Ever Tumblr Giveaway:

Reblog this post right here and on December 18, I’ll draw two winners who will each get one of these CDs (Barbara Morrison Live at the 9:20 Special and Jonathan Stout’s Crazy Rhythm).

Rules: You must be following me, and only reblogs count. No giveaway blog entries, please. Have your Ask or Submit box open so I can contact you if you win. That is all.

God Called Them to Adopt. And Adopt. And Adopt. - NYTimes.com

danceturtle:

This is kind of a long read, but it’s cool to see the New York Times telling the stories of some Christian adoptive families from a fairly unbiased perspective. And 8 kids? Wow.
